International Development Collaborative (IDC) is a non-profit organization that was started by four Ohio State University graduate students. IDC works with women living in extreme poverty in Bolivia to help them develop sustainable micro-enterprises. These women weave scarves of extremely soft and warm alpaca fiber like the one worn by Coach Tressel, and in doing so are able to raise their income from $2/day to nearly $6/day.
