Tickets Available for Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame Dinners and Induction Ceremonies – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State Men’s Varsity O Alumni Association and the Women’s Varsity O Alumnae Society will host their annual dinner and induction ceremonies Sept.25 to honor the 2009 Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame class. The 12 inductees will then be introduced to the public at halftime of the Ohio State home football game against Illinois Sept. 26.
Members of the Hall of Fame class of 2009 expected at the men’s dinner are Robert Gary (cross country/track and field), Bob Hopper (swimming), Andy Katzenmoyer (football), Dick LeBeau (football), Michael Redd (basketball) and Pandel Savic (football). The late Neal Colzie (football) also will be inducted into the hall that night. The dinner and ceremonies will be held at 5:30 p.m. at The Columbus (50 N. High Street, Columbus) at a cost of $75 per person.
Inductees expected at the women’s dinner are Karla Fiserova (rowing), Allison Hanna (golf), Vanessa Immordino (field hockey), Emma Laaksonen (ice hockey) and Jim Montrella (swimming coach). The women’s dinner and ceremonies will be held at 5:30 p.m. at The Blackwell (2110 Tuttle Park Place, Columbus) at a cost of $45 per person.
At both dinners there will be a meet and greet with student-athletes from sports represented by the induction class. Guests will have an opportunity to meet Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame inductees and current student-athletes.
