Buckeyes Host Sports Imports Classic with Bowling Green, Cleveland State and Xavier

The Ohio State (9-1 overall, 0-0 Big Ten) women’s volleyball team returns to St. John Arena after three consecutive weeks of road matches to host the Sports Imports Classic. – MORE –

No. 25 Ohio State Looks to Build on Four Game Win Streak at Home Against North Texas, Toledo
Winners of four in a row, including a 3-2 triumph in overtime at UNLV on Wednesday Sept. 6 and a 6-0 win against Youngstown State Friday Sept. 9, the Buckeyes look to carry the momentum into their last two non-conference matches this weekend. The Buckeyes host North Texas on Youth Night at 8 p.m. Friday before taking on Toledo at noon Sunday for Parent’s Day. Both matches will be part of a doubleheader with the Ohio State men’s soccer team at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. – MORE –

Harriet Reynolds fought breast cancer privately because at the time, people didn’t talk much about cancer. She battled the disease for nearly three years, coaching every Ohio State field hockey practice, game and November Hockey Festival in her final season as head coach in 1986 before passing away in 1987. – MORE –
