MHKY: Dalpe, Albert Lead No. 15 Buckeyes to 4-1 Win over No. 2 Notre Dame
COLUMBUS, Oho Boosted by three second-period goals in just over 10 minutes, the No. 15 Ohio State men’s hockey team defeated No. 2 Notre Dame, 4-1, Sunday afternoon in Value City Arena. Sophomore John Albert (1g, 2a) and freshman Zac Dalpe (3a) each had a team-best three points, with linemate Taylor Stefishen adding a goal and an assist. – MORE –

MHKY: Dalpe Earns Third CCHA Rookie of the Week Honor COLUMBUS, Ohio Ohio State freshman forward Zac Dalpe has been named CCHA Rookie of the Week, the Central Collegiate Hockey Association announced Monday. The Paris, Ontario, native had four points in the Buckeyes’ series split with then-No. 2 ranked Notre Dame last weekend. This is the third player of the week honor for Dalpe this season. – MORE –
MHKY: Buckeyes vs. Spartans This Weekend in East Lansing COLUMBUS, Ohio — The No. 16 Ohio State men’s hockey team travels to East Lansing, Mich., to take on Michigan State in its final Central Collegiate Hockey Association regular-season road series in 2008-09. The Buckeyes (18-9-3, 11-8-3-3 CCHA) and Spartans (8-18-4, 5-14-3-2) will meet at 7:05 p.m. Friday and at 5:05 p.m. Saturday in Munn Ice Arena. The Buckeyes are coming off a two-game split at home vs. then-No. 2 ranked Notre Dame, with a 4-3 overtime loss Friday and 4-1 victory Sunday in Value City Arena. – MORE –
