Buckeye Beach Bash set for Dec. 31 – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State Alumni Association will host a Buckeye Beach Bash from 3-4:30 p.m. PST on Thursday, Dec. 31, at the Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica, Calif.
Alumni Association president and CEO Archie Griffin will appear at the Bash along with The Ohio State University Marching Band, cheerleaders, and Brutus Buckeye. Other Ohio State heroes are expected to attend the event.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the Buckeye Beach Bash. Ohio State and Rose Bowl apparel and souvenirs will be on sale at the Bash.
The Alumni Association has hosted bowl game Bashes since the 1969 Rose Bowl. These stand-up pep rallies give fans the opportunity to hear from Buckeye personalities the day before the big game.
The Alumni Association is a dues-supported organization of graduates, former students, and friends of the university with more than 120,000 members. For more than 125 years, the Alumni Association has been dedicated to connecting alumni, friends and students to enhance and strengthen the traditions and reputation of The Ohio State University.
