Gee Makes Rose Bowl Prediction WBNS 10TV
LOS ANGELES – Ohio State President Gordon Gee arrived in Los Angeles on Tuesday, just days before the Buckeyes take on the Oregon Ducks in the Rose Bowl. It’s Gee’s first trip to Pasadena since 1997, when the Buckeyes defeated Arizona State. During an interview with 10TV’s Dom Tiberi, Gee offered his prediction on the outcome of this year’s Rose Bowl. While he believes the Buckeyes are a young group, he thinks they have what it takes to pick up a win. “I just think our team really has that kind of solidity,” Gee said. “We’ll let it revel in this kind of game. I feel really good about how we’re going to do.” Gee pointed out that he left Ohio State for Brown University after the Buckeyes’ Rose Bowl victory in 1997. He jokingly assured Tiberi that he has no plans to leave Ohio State after this year’s game.
