Turner Named to Preseason All-Big Ten Team; Buckeyes Picked Third

Reigning Big Ten Player of the Year Kalin Lucas of the Spartans was tabbed as the Preseason Player of the Year. The other four juniors earning preseason accolades are Michigan’s Manny Harris, Ohio State’s Evan Turner, Penn State’s Talor Battle and Purdue’s Robbie Hummel. – MORE –

First Edition of Chalk Talk with Assistant Coach Jeff Boals
First-year assistant coach Jeff Boals will provide “Chalk Talk” updates periodically throughout the 2009-10 season. The Buckeyes take to the court at 8 p.m. Wednesday in an exhibition game vs. Walsh University at Value City Arena. The season officially opens Nov. 9 vs. Alcorn State in the first game of the 2K Sports Classic benefitting Coaches vs. Cancer. The game tips at 7 p.m. at Value City Arena. – MORE –
