OHIO STATE POSTGAME NOTES
• With the win, Ohio State wins the 2009 Big Ten Championship outright – its fifth-consecutive Big Ten title (shared or outright)
• Jim Tressel is now 8-1 against Michigan.
• Jim Tressel is 26-4 in November games at Ohio State.
• Ohio State is 818-308-53 in its 120th season of play. The win total ranks fifth all-time among FBS schools.
• Ohio State’s all-time Big Ten record now stands at 457-190-28 (.697), which is the best percentage of any Big Ten school.
• Jim Tressel’s record with the Buckeyes is 93-21 and his career record is 228-78-2. Tressel’s 228 victories rank third among active FBS coaches.
• The Buckeyes are 432-131-14 all-time as a Top 25 team.

• Saturday was the 106th meeting all-time between Ohio State and Michigan.
• Michigan leads the all-time series, 57-43-6.
• Ohio State has won the last six meetings overall.
• Ohio State is now 8-2 this decade against the Wolverines after going just 2-7-1 in the 1990’s.
• Michigan has scored just 20 points in the last three games against the Buckeyes.
OFFENSIVE NOTES
• The Buckeyes have totaled eight team rushing performances for at least 200 yards this season – the most in the Jim Tressel era.
• Terrelle Pryor is 18-3 as Ohio State’s starting quarterback (note: Pryor did not start at QB in the 2009 Fiesta Bowl).
• With 141 yards of total offense, Terrelle Pryor passed Cornelius Green (4,414) for 11th place (4,477) on Ohio State’s all-time list.
• Brandon Saine went over 1,000 career rushing yards. He finished with 84 yards on 12 carries, including a 29-yard TD run in the second quarter – his fourth of the season and seventh of his career.
• Dan “Boom” Herron needs 3 yards to go over the 1,000-yard mark in his career after a 96 yard, 19 carry outing vs. the Wolverines.
DEFENSIVE NOTES
• Ohio State came into the game averaging 5.8 three-and-outs per game and recorded seven more today. They have totaled 69 through 12 games.
• Michigan came into the game averaging a Big Ten-best 31.2 ppg. Ohio State held them to just 10 points.
• Defensive lineman Cameron Heyward recorded his first career touchdown when he recovered a Tate Forcier fumble in the end zone at the 10:44 mark of the first quarter.
• Junior Devon Torrence picked off his first career interception in the fourth quarter.
• Junior Thaddeus Gibson picked off his first career interception in the fourth quarter.
