Award Winners From Purdue – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State football coaching staff has selected its weekly award winners for outstanding play in Saturday’s game at Purdue.
Solomon Thomas, with two tackles on special teams, was the player of the week on the special units. Stewart Smith was the scout team performer of the week on defense, while Spencer Smith was the scout team player of the week for the special units. No other weekly winners were awarded.
No. 17 Ohio State (5-2/3-1) continues Big Ten play Saturday hosting Minnesota (4-3/2-2) in a noon Homecoming game that will be televised by ESPN.
