Upcoming Big Ten battles will determine fate of men’s soccer team
OSU Lantern As the season winds down for the Ohio State men’s soccer team, the remaining stretch of games might be their toughest test yet. Four out of the next five games will be Big Ten showdowns for the Buckeyes. These games will ultimately decide who wins the conference championship and what team could make it to the NCAA tournament.

Women’s soccer team looks for quick jump in Big Ten standings
OSU Lantern – For the first time since 1993, the women’s soccer Big Ten championship will not be decided with a post-season tournament. The change, which puts emphasis exclusively on a team’s regular season performance, makes Ohio State’s games at Wisconsin and at Minnesota this weekend all the more important.

Bucks lose starting center to broken hand
OSU Lantern – Ohio State junior center Dallas Lauderdale will be sidelined for four-to-six weeks with a broken bone in his right hand, the team announced in a press release. Lauderdale suffered the injury Monday during a workout. He will have surgery today at the OSU Medical Center.
