Men’s Basketball Previews 2009-10 Season – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s basketball team took part in the annual media day festivities Thursday at Value City Arena. The Buckeyes are ranked among the Top 25 teams nationally in several preseason publications. The team officially begins practice at 6 p.m. Friday.
The Buckeyes take to the court at 8 p.m. Nov. 4 in an exhibition game vs. Walsh University at Value City Arena. The season officially opens Nov. 9 vs. Alcorn State in the first game of the 2K Sports Classic benefitting Coaches vs. Cancer. The game tips at 7 p.m. at Value City Arena.
Thad Matta, now in his sixth season as head coach of the Buckeyes, returns 11 letterwinners and all five starters in 2009-10.
