COLUMBUS, Ohio At each home football game during the 2008 season, former Ohio State gridiron greats will share their favorite memories of Ohio Stadium on the video board.
Last week during the Youngstown State game, Tom Skladany (1973-76) recalled his 58-yard punt in the 12-10 win over Michigan in 1974. This week, Gene Fekete, from Ohio State’s first national championship team in 1942, will describe his game on Dad’s Day.
Buckeye legends like two-time Heisman trophy winner Archie Griffin (1972-75) and college football hall of famer Jim Stillwagon (1968-70) will share their fondest moment of playing in Ohio Stadium. Memories also will be offered by past standouts like “Ike” Kelley (1963-65) and Jeff Logan (1974-77). More recent Buckeyes to participate feature Greg Frey (1987-90), Bob Hoying (1993-95) and Dee Miller (1995-98).
Each clip will be played on the Ohio Stadium video board during breaks in game action and will be followed by a request for fans to visit OhioStateBuckeyes.com and submit their favorite moment in the Horseshoe.
