OHIO STATE POSTGAME NOTES
Ohio State now is 800-303-54 in its 119th season of play. The win total ranks fifth all-time in college football. The only other schools to have 800 or more wins are Michigan, Notre Dame, Texas and Nebraska.
Overall, the Buckeyes are 414-127-14 as a Top 25 team. Ohio State is 4-9 all-time vs. teams ranked No. 1. Ohio State is 63-49-7 all-time in road openers. Jim Tressel is 4-4 in the first away game of the season.
Jim Tressel’s record with the Buckeyes is 75-17 and his career record is 210-74-2. Tressel’s 210 wins are the fourth-most among active FBS coaches.

OFFENSIVE NOTES
Brian Robiskie has caught a pass in 27-consecutive regular-season games. He finished with 4 catches for 23 yards.
Senior quarterback Todd Boeckman completed his first six passes while sharing snaps with freshman Terrelle Pryor. For the game, Boeckman completed 14 of 21 passes for 84 yards. Pryor was 7 of 9 for 52 yards. He also rushed for 40 yards.
Redshirt freshman Dan “Boom” Herron started at tailback for the Buckeyes. He finished with career highs in carries (11) and yards (51).
Brian Hartline has caught at least one pass in 21-consecutive games. He caught three passes for 19 yards.
DEFENSIVE NOTES
Ohio State sophomore defensive back Chimdi Chekwa made his first interception of the year and second of his career with 19 seconds to play in the first half to stop the Trojans with the Buckeyes down 21-3.
Senior Malcolm Jenkins led the Buckeyes with 10 tackles and tied for the lead along with senior linebacker James Laurinaitis with six solo stops.
SPECIAL TEAMS
Ryan Pretorius put the Buckeyes on the board first with a 29-yard FG with 3:06 remaining in the first quarter. The senior kicker is 7 of 9 on field goal attempts this season. Ohio State consumed 8 minutes, 45 seconds on the scoring drive going 69 yards on 17 plays.
Senior punter A.J. Trapasso punted seven times for an average of 41.9 yards per punt.
