“Football Game Day” and “For the Fans” pages aim to enhance Buckeye fan experience
COLUMBUS, Ohio OhioStateBuckeyes.com, the official Web site for the Ohio State department of athletics, has rolled out two new features for the 2008-09 sports seasons with an aim to enhance fan experience.
The “Football Game Day” and “For the Fans” sites at OhioStateBuckeyes.com are dedicated as resources for fans to use before visiting venues on the athletics campus.
“Football Game Day” is an A-Z guide for Buckeye home games designed to answer fans’ questions about Ohio Stadium, its policies, procedures, perimeter activities and parking.
Starting with the contest vs. Youngstown State Saturday, a brief listing of game-day activities and features will be posted each week of a home game. To provide additional information, email addresses and links are displayed throughout the A-Z guide.
For convenience, a link to “Football Game Day” is provided in the feature block on the front page of OhioStateBuckeyes.com.
The “For the Fans” page extends beyond football and fall Saturdays, encompassing all 36 Ohio State varsity sports and their respective seasons.
Easily accessible to OhioStateBuckeyes.com visitors, a link to “For the Fans” is provided on the top header of the front page. Buckeye faithful also can access the “For the Fans” page by typing www.OhioStateBuckeyes.com/forthefans into their Web browser.
The “For the Fans” site is the informational and promotional hub for all Buckeye fans. “Brutus’ Pick” highlights the featured home event of the week and coinciding promotion. Below “Brutus’ Pick” is a list of links to promotional calendars for all 36 Buckeye sports teams.
