On the program
“I think our guys are choosing to come to Ohio State because of the great support system. Gene (Smith) has taken our program up to the next level. We have as much support as a program could ask for. Most important is that our guys come here hoping to finish with their degree.”
On the quarterbacks
“Todd has a great command with what we’re trying to do. He has a thorough understanding. He’s able to talk to Joe and Terrelle about this and that. It’s great having that comfort at the quarterback position. You love to go into the season with a veteran quarterback.”
On open-practice
“We’re two-thirds into preseason camp and we always get a burst of adrenaline when we’re able to play at Ohio Stadium. It’s great to get folks out here. It’s a beautiful night and no cost, it’s great to do this for the fans that aren’t always able to get out here and see us. It’s a chance for them to see us.”
