Ohio State Sends Three To NFL Combine
Barton, Grant, Gholston to perform for scouts
COLUMBUS, Ohio Three former OhioState football players will be among the professional football prospects undergoing testing and drills at the National Football League Combine Feb. 20-26 at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis.
All-America offensive tackle Kirk Barton, a first team all-Big Ten selection as a junior and senior; linebacker Larry Grant, who made 14 career starts for the Buckeyes; and All-American Vernon Gholston , who declared for the draft after earning Big Ten defensive lineman of the year honors as a junior, were invited to participate by the NFL.
Offensive linemen will work out on Saturday, while defensive linemen and linebackers are on the schedule for Monday.
