Football Award Winners – Ohio State Buckeyes

Play against Penn State recognized
COLUMBUS, Ohio The Ohio State football coaching staff has selected its weekly award winners for their play in the 13-6 loss to Penn State.
Safety Kurt Coleman was the Buckeyes’ defensive player of the week; wide receiver Dane Sanzenbacher picked up offensive player of the week honors. Kicker Aaron Pettrey was the player of the week on the special units.
Scout team champions were: Offense: Joe Bauserman; Defense: Tony Jackson; Special Units: Ricky Crawford. The “Attack Force” award went to defensive lineman Cameron Heyward. The Jim Parker offensive lineman of the week was Alex Boone. The Jack Tatum big hit went to Cameron Heyward for plowing down a running back.
After a bye week, No. 12 Ohio State (7-2) visits Northwestern (6-2) on Saturday, Nov. 8, for a Big Ten game at noon Eastern that will be televised by ESPN or ESPN2. Fans also can listen to the Ohio State Radio Network broadcast on Buckeye Vision at OhioStateBuckeyes.com.
