Buckeye Basketball Greats Redd and Penn Recognized During Football Game – Ohio State Buckeyes

The Ohio State guard tandem of Michael Redd and Scoonie Penn, both all-Big Ten performers during their years together from 1999-2000, were on hand Saturday at the Ohio State vs. Northwestern football game at Ohio Stadium. The duo was recognized for their continued support of the men’s basketball program since their playing days. Redd is in his eighth season with the Milwaukee Bucks and is among a group of NBA players currently preparing with USA Basketball for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. Penn continues to play in Europe. He is scheduled to return to Greece later this fall. He is one of the premier American point guards playing abroad.
