Replacing a Legend – Ohio State Buckeyes

Green Bay, Wis. – As you all may or may not know Troy Smith was picked with the 174th pick in the 2007 draft. Now he’s in the NFL and not in Columbus. So, what are the Buckeyes do at the quarterback position this year? They have 3 options one shines brighter than the rest. That 1 is Todd Boeckman the Jr. out of St. Henry, Ohio. I was watching the closed practice on Mon. and saw that his passes were nice and clean.
One of the other quarterbacks surprised me though. It was walk-on Joe Bauserman whose passes were crisp, clean, and tight spirals. Yet tight spirals aren’t the only spirals he throws he is also a baseball player drafted in the 4th round of the 2004 baseball draft by the pirates. So remember his name if Boeckman doesn’t do his job to the fullest.
