Football: Buckeyes Back at It – Ohio State Buckeyes
8/21/2007 12:00:00 AM | Football
After the open practice at Ohio Stadium was washed out Monday, the football team was back working out Tuesday. The Buckeyes will return to the Horseshoe Thursday for the rescheduled open practice and autograph session.
OhioState is heading down the home stretch of camp and will sharpen the special teams work Wednesday during the kick scrimmage. Aaron Pettrey and Ryan Pretorius, place kickers for the Buckeyes, joined OhioStateBuckeyes.com to preview the kick scrimmage. The tandem shared duties last season, combining to make 9-of-13 field goal attempts. Both Buckeyes connected on 50-yard tries last season as well.
OPEN PRACTICE AND AUTOGRAPH INFORMATION
Gates will open at 5 p.m. for admission to Ohio Stadium. Fans wanting autographs will be allowed on the new playing surface through Gates 31 and 32 beginning at 5:15 p.m. The on-field autograph session will be limited to the first 10,000 fans.
Fans are limited to one autograph item per person. To keep the lines moving, the players will not be available for individual posed pictures. Because of the new playing surface, no food or sodas will be allowed on the field. Normal game day security restrictions on bags and backpacks will be in place.
After the autograph session, fans can move into the stands to watch the 2007 Buckeyes go through a preseason practice under the lights beginning at approximately 8 p.m.
