Women’s Soccer Beats Ohio, 2-1, in Spring Action – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s soccer team, which played its first game of the spring schedule in Columbus, defeated Ohio, 2-1, on the indoor practice field of the Woody Hayes Athletic Center Saturday.
Caitlin Colfer (Albany, N,Y./Albertson) scored the first Buckeye goal, with Lara Dickenmann (Kriens, Switzerland/DFC Sursee) on the assist. Ashley Bowyer (Aliso Viejo, Calif./Slammers) scored the gamewinner and Lisa Collison (Niagara Falls, Ontario/Flames) was credited with the helper.
The Scarlet and Gray move to 4-1-1 in the spring season. Ohio State wraps up its spring campaign at 4 p.m. April 28 against West Virginia in Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
