On the Beaver Stadium atmosphere
“I actually wasn’t there in ’05, I was hurt that season. I’ve been there through the recruiting process and what not. It’s an exciting atmosphere. I’m going to have a chance to go back home, so I’m sure I’m going to have a lot of enemies in there, but that’s fine. They say it’s one of the most intimidating places to play.”
On playing in his home state of Pennsylvania
“It’ll be fun, I’m going to have a lot of family there and friends from back in the Valley that go there. A lot of my friends’ parents from back home are Penn State season ticket holders, so it will be fun in that regard. Like I said, it’s my first chance to play there.”
On being comfortable in hostile environments
“It’s really simple. We can’t have any bad plays. We can’t have negative rushing plays, or sacks, or interceptions. We can’t turn the ball over. You sort of have to take them (the fans) out of it, but it’s fun to go in there.”
On the Penn State defense
“They blitz a ton. I watched the Michigan game and they blitzed a lot. They have two pretty good defensive ends. They’ve got good guys coming off the edge and they have two of the best linebackers in the game. Their defensive coordinator actually recruited me and I know him pretty well, Tom Bradley. He’s also been known as a defensive guru.”

“He is one of the leaders of this team. Todd has really grown and has become the leader of the offense. One thing he needs to work on though is not taking all the blame. Things are not all on him.”
On the turnovers in the Michigan State game
“We knew what was going on nothing really had to be said. The coaches came over and talked to us but we all knew what we needed to do.”
On Penn State’s
“We are doing everything we can to prepare. We are just getting use to each others had signals and trying to simulate the sound the best we can. You just have to get use to it the best you can because there is nothing else like it.”

“We don’t expect them to play bad. Not at all, each week we expect a teams best shot. We are expecting a dog fight.”

“They have great fans out there. We know that they are going to get on us and you have to remember to stay in the game. I know we are going to have a lot of fans pulling for us back here in Columbus . We can’t worry about their fans.”
