On Sept.10th, Brig. Gen. Robin Timmons, 16th Eng. Bde. commander, (third from left) and Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Horne, Multi-Nation Corps-Iraq Effects Coordinator (holding football), a native of Gahanna, Ohio, joined Soldiers from the Ohio Army National Guard’s 16th Eng. Bde. from Baghdad’s Victory Base Complex to cheer the Buckeyes on to a 24-7 victory over Texas.
A 4 a.m. start time didn’t deter Spc. Scott Johnson, Sgt. Maj. Dale Vogel and Sgt. 1st Class Richard Mason (from left to right), all Buckeye football fans, from joining other Ohio State fans in the Ohio Army National Guard’s 16th Engineer Brigade from Baghdad’s Victory Base Complex to cheering on the Buckeyes during a 24-7 win over the University of Texas.
