An estimated 28,000 fans turned out to watch the football team’s public practice Monday at Ohio Stadium. Fans filled both the east and west stands to watch the Buckeyes run drills and scrimmage under the lights. Before practice, thousands of fans lined up for autographs from their favorite Buckeyes.
Including the more than 60,000 fans that attended the 2006 Spring Game in April, nearly 100,000 people have come out to watch Ohio State’s last two open events. The Buckeyes kickoff the 2006 regular season vs. Northern Illinois at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 2
