Football Team To Be Recognized at Men’s Basketball Game – Ohio State Buckeyes

The Ohio State Department of Athletics will recognize the Buckeye football team at halftime of the men’s basketball game with Iowa State (8 p.m.) Tuesday at Value City Arena. The Buckeyes (12-0) take on Florida (12-1) to determine the national champion Jan. 8 in Glendale, Ariz. Ohio State was the outright Big Ten champion in 2006 with an 8-0 record. Several student-athletes will be honored as well for individual accomplishments, including 2006 Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith.
