34 Current and Former Buckeyes Presented Degrees Sunday – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – A total of 34 current and former Ohio State student-athletes received degrees at fall quarter commencement Sunday in St. John Arena. Among the graduates were former volleyball All-American Stacey Gordon, former football standouts Butler By’not’e and Roger Harper and six current members of the Big Ten champion football team, including Ryan Franzinger, Roy Hall, Joel Penton, Jay Richardson, Dre Riddick and Justin Zwick.
By’not’e and Harper returned to Ohio State to complete their coursework after competing for the Scarlet and Gray in the early 1990s. By’not’e (1990-93) averaged more than 27 yards per kickoff return in his career, which ranks No. 3 all-time at Ohio State, while Harper (1990-92) was a 1992 first-team All-Big Ten selection at defensive back.
Gordon was the 2004 Big Ten Player of the Year and the 2004 AVCA National Player of the Year. She collected double-digit kills in 123 of her 125 career matches and established Ohio State and Big Ten records with 2,798 kills, which rank third all-time in NCAA Division I.
