Who will receive priority on the tickets?
The official University parties, players families, students, faculty/staff, Buckeye Club at the Big Ten Champions Level or higher, Presidents Club members, Varsity O football members and long time season ticket holders will receive ordering priority.
How can tickets be purchased?
Official bowl applications have been mailed to those groups eligible to order thru the Ohio State University allocation. The official bowl application must be returned with proper payment by the deadline. No email or phone calls will be allowed for the purchase of the bowl tickets. Faxes will be accepted provided they have the official bowl application in the body of the fax. Fax number is 614-688-3032.
Will all Buckeye Club and Presidents Club members receive bowl applications?
No. Applications were sent to Presidents Club and Buckeye Club members (at the Big Ten Champions Level or higher) who purchase their 2005 football season tickets.
Will everyone that applies for Fiesta Bowl tickets receive them?
It is anticipated that ticket demand will exceed the number of tickets available.
What determines who receives tickets from all the people that apply?
Within each category, a specific number of tickets have been allocated. When demand exceeds supply either the Presidents Club point system or a lottery will be implemented. The breakdown is as follows:
Students – lottery
Faculty/Staff – lottery
Varsity O football – lottery
Long Time Purchasers (020) – lottery
Presidents Club/Buckeye Club – the point system utilized in football
When is the deadline?
All applications with payment must be received in the Athletic Ticket Office by Wednesday, December 7th at 5:00 pm.
When will people be notified if they received tickets?
Notification will be made as soon as possible to those individuals that did not receive tickets. Tickets will be mailed after December 14th to all groups except students, faculty, and staff. Individuals may contact the ticket office beginning on December 19th if they have not received either their game tickets or notification that they will not be receiving game tickets.
How will student obtain Fiesta Bowl tickets?
Beginning Monday, December 5 students may obtain a lottery number from the Athletic Ticket Office located in the southeast lobby of the Jerome Schottenstein Center. Lottery number will be distributed from 8 am to 5 pm. Each full time student currently enrolled at Ohio State University will be eligible to obtain one lottery ticket. A lottery will be conducted and the winning numbers posted on Tuesday, December 6. Students who are successful must then return to the ticket office on December 6th with their successful lottery stub and fill out an application, pay for the ticket and obtain their claim voucher. ALL STUDENTS WHO ARE SUCCESSFUL IN THE FIESTA BOWL LOTTERY WILL BE REQUIRED TO PICK UP THEIR TICKET IN TEMPE WITH THEIR OSU STUDENT ID AND THE CLAIM VOUCHER. The ticket is not transferable.
How many tickets may a student purchase?
A student will have the opportunity to purchase one Fiesta Bowl ticket. Two if married. Proper documentation, (marriage certificate) will be required to receive the second ticket.
How will faculty/staff obtain Fiesta Bowl tickets?
Faculty/staff may begin picking up their lottery numbers at the Athletic Ticket Office beginning on Tuesday, December 6th. Lottery numbers for faculty/staff will be distributed from 8 am to 5 pm on December 6th. Faculty and staff members who purchased full or split season tickets are eligible to obtain one lottery ticket. A lottery will be conducted and the numbers posted on Wednesday, December 7th. Faculty/staff who are successful must then return to the ticket office on December 7th with their successful lottery stub and fill out an application, pay for the tickets, and obtain their claim voucher. ALL FACULTY/STAFF WHO ARE SUCCESSFUL IN THE FIESTA BOWL LOTTERY WILL BE REQUIRED TO PICK UP THEIR TICKET IN TEMPE WITH THEIR FACULTY/STAFF ID AND THE CLAIM VOUCHER.
