Ohio State returned to St. John Arena for the first time sinceFeb. 28, 1998, an 89-85 overtime loss to Penn State. It was thefinal game in St. John Arena, the longtime home of the Buckeyesbefore the squad moved to the Jerome Schottenstein Center in thefall of 1999. The Buckeyes lead the all-time series againstChattanooga, 4-1. The last time the teams met was Dec. 22, 1997,with the Buckeyes taking a 63-54 decision in Columbus. UTC’s onlywin in the series came on Dec. 9, 1995, as the Mocs beat Ohio State83-70 in Chattanooga.

The Buckeyes have a 427-151 all-time record in St. John Arenafor a winning percentage of .730. Notably, Ohio State is 80-20(.800) all-time in Value City Arena. Ohio State is 11-4 all-timeagainst teams in the Southern Conference. A Tony Stockman bucketwith 19:03 in the first half was the first basket in St. John Arenasince Feb. 28, 1998, when Carlos Davis hit a layup with sevenseconds left in the overtime contest against Penn State.
