Kickoff time announced for Ohio State at Wisconsin – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio: The Ohio State at Wisconsin football game, Oct. 11 in Madison, will be nationally televised by ESPN and will kick off at 9:08 p.m. EDT.
The late start gives the Buckeyes two night games this season. Previously, ABC announced an 8:07 p.m. EDT kickoff for the Aug. 30 season opener between Ohio State and Washington in Columbus.
The Buckeyes will be traveling to Madison for the second consecutive year. Ohio State prevailed 19-14 last year in front of a sell-out throng of 79, 729 in Camp Randall Stadium.
Through the years, Ohio State and Wisconsin have met 70 times. The Buckeyes have a commanding 50-15-5 lead in the series, including a 23-9-2 edge in games played in Madison.
In the last four games at Camp Randall, Ohio State is 2-1-1, winning last year and in 2000 (23-7), but tying 14-14 in 1993 and losing 20-16 in 1992.
This year’s game with the Badgers will be the Buckeyes’ first road game of 2003 and follows a bye week. Ohio State opens the season with five consecutive home games and then is off Oct. 4 before heading to Madison.
