Brett Garrard (Jr., Brownsburg, Ind./Brownsburg) was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2003 Big Ten Baseball Tournament in going 9-for-19 with a .474 batting average. He had four home runs for five RBI and touched 23 bases in leading the squad to its second consecutive and sixth overall Big Ten Tournament title.
Sophomore golfer Kristen White fired a final-round of 73 and finished in a tie for sixth place at 300 (+12) to help lead the squad to a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Championships, the highest finish in program history.
