CSTV: College Sports Television’s Monday Night Spring Football Features Defending National Champion Ohio State, Notre Dame and P – Ohio State Buckeyes

NEW YORK, NY – CSTV: College Sports Television (www.cstv.com), the first 24-hour college sports network, will provide the first-ever national telecasts of spring college football games when it presents Monday Night Spring Football, spring games featuring defending national champion Ohio State and Penn State. The two telecasts will feature interviews with head coaches Jim Tressel and Joe Paterno, respectively. CSTV’s Monday Night Spring Football series will also feature two nights focusing on Notre Dame’s recently concluded spring football season.
Hosts Ed Cunningham and Steve Schlanger will introduce the action each Monday from College Sports Television’s new studios at Chelsea Piers in New York City and will provide analysis at halftime, as well as news from throughout college football. Ohio State earned its #1 ranking and national championship last year by virtue of a 31-24 defeat of Miami in the Fiesta Bowl that topped off a 14-0 season. Penn State ended up at 9-4, including a loss to Auburn in the Capital One Bowl. Under first-year coach Tyrone Willingham, the winner of seven Coach of the Year awards, Notre Dame finished at 10-3 and #17 after losing to North Carolina State in the Gator Bowl.
