On playing at Wisconsin
We are excited to be playing at Camp Randall Stadium. We love playing there because the energy is high, the stadium is packed and the crowd is loud. The atmosphere reminds us of Ohio Stadium, so it will be fun and we will be ready to play.
On having everyone rested and healthy
It was nice to have a week off and get everyone pretty much back to full strength. With everyone back we need to focus on getting better on both sides of the ball. We know what we have to improve on offense and defense so we have to keep working on both areas.
On the tight ends
We have a great deal of talent at tight end. All our guys at that position our capable of doing multiple tasks – blocking, catching and running with the football. We will continue to utilize them more and more in different situations throughout the season.
On the offense
We need to continue to improve on our offensive game. We have seen some good things but we need to get more good things going. It is now time to bring it together.
Senior punter/holder BJ Sander
On the OSU punt return squad increasing its productivity
We are working on producing return yards, but if they are not going to punt the football to our guys there is not much we can do. Maybe we can put a little more pressure on their punter and force them into a bad kick.
On his success this season
My punt team has done a great job this season. Kyle Andrews has done a great job long snapping. Without Kyle, (kicker) Mike (Nugent) and I don’t go.
On playing at night
Playing at night brings out a lot of excitement and brings back some of those good high school memories. Playing at night definitely gets you more juiced for the game.
On playing at Camp Randall Stadium
That place is crazy but it’s also a really fun place to play. When they play “Jump Around” before the fourth quarter you can feel the stadium shake.
