Three Buckeyes made their first career starts. Freshman RobSims started at left tackle. Sophomore Simon Fraser started atright defensive end and senior David Thompson started at defensivetackle. Senior Donnie Nickey rushed for 28 yards on a fake punt inthe first quarter. It was his first career rushing attempt. Juniorreceiver Mike Jenkins has caught a pass in each of the last 17games as a Buckeye. He finished with 7 catches for 93 yards and 2TDs vs. Indiana; Jenkins’ TDs were his first two of the year; henow has 5 career TDs, all receiving. Freshman Maurice Clarettscored his seventh, eighth and ninth career rushing touchdowns inthe first half. His first of the day came with 39 seconds remainingin the first quarter. Sophomore Dustin Fox blocked an Indiana punt with8:43 remaining in the third quarter. It was the second blocked puntfor the Buckeyes this season. Donnie Nickey blocked one vs. KentState earlier this season. Fox’s block set up a 3-yard TD pass fromCraig Krenzel to Michael Jenkins with 6:38 left in the thirdquarter. It was Jenkins’ first scoring catch this season. He laterscored his second TD on a pass from McMullen in the fourth quarter.Junior quarterback Craig Krenzel completed 11 of 16 passes for 152yards.
