Ohio State Postpones Football Game Against San Diego State – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Andy Geiger, Ohio State Director of Athletics, announced the football game scheduled for Saturday against San Diego State at Ohio Stadium has been postponed. The game is rescheduled for Oct. 20.
“This unspeakable tragedy and assault on our nation has given us something more to think about than football,” Geiger said. “In the best interests of our players and after meeting with our coaches and President Kirwin, we have decided to postpone this Saturday’s football game. This is an Ohio State decision that we feel is in the best interest of everyone involved. It’s the right thing to do.”
All events associated with the scheduled Hall of Fame weekend have also been moved to the to Friday, October 19th and Saturday, October 20th respectively.
