Football Freshmen Report to Camp – Ohio State Buckeyes

%^$Coach Jim Tressel and his coaching staff welcomed his inaugural recruiting class at Ohio State this afternoon. The 2001 freshman Buckeyes checked in at the Fawcett Center and will gather for meetings this evening before practice begins Tuesday. Upperclassmen will report Thursday. Following are some quotations from members of the freshman class.%^$

%^$”I think playing against players who are going to major college programs is very important. You get to test your skill level. It gives you a head start on getting ready to hit and practicing with the pads on. It gets you sort of set up for college, It gave me a lot more confidence coming in to camp, having two great all-star games.”%^$
