%^$COLUMBUS, Ohio – Thirty Ohio State student-athletes, representing 13 varsity sports, earned their degrees March 16 at commencement ceremonies held in St. John Arena.%^$
%^$Several of the latest student-athlete graduates left significant marks on the playing fields and the classrooms at Ohio State.%^$
%^$Susan Eckman (Boardman, Ohio) holds records in three women’s gymnastics categories, setting the standard on uneven bars (10.0) and in the all-around (39.625), while also setting the vault school record, scoring 10.0 seven times during her illustrious career.%^$
%^$Eight former football players earned their degrees. Dan Stultz (Orrville, Ohio) finished as the second-leading scorer in Ohio State history, amassing 342 career points – just six shy of the all-time record. A consensus All-Big Ten pick, Stultz set school records this year for single-season (19) and career (59) field goals made.%^$
%^$Kurt Murphy (Columbus, Ohio) was a three-year starter at center for the Buckeye football team, earning Academic All-Big Ten honors three times. Synchronized swimmer Heather Moore (Tonawanda, N.Y.) is a two-time All-America selection and was a member of the 2000 National Championship team.%^$
