Rimington Trophy Finalists – Ohio State Buckeyes

Garden City Park, NY– Finalists for the Dave Rimington Trophy presented to the nation’s premier college football center, are seniors LeCharles Bentley of Ohio State, Mel Fowler of Maryland, Seth McKinney of Texas A&M, Kyle Young of Clemson, and junior Brett Romberg of Miami-Florida.
The winner will be honored at a presentation banquet in Lincoln, NE on December 15. Rimington the award’s namesake, was a consensus first-team All-America center at Nebraska in 1981 and ’82-years in which he became the John Outland Trophy’s only double winner as the nation’s finest college interior lineman.
