%^$The Buckeyes held their final scrimmage of the spring Tuesday.%^$
%^$”It was a good practice, with a lot of real good hitting,” OSU Coach John Cooper said afterwards. “We probably went a little longer than normal, but we are off until Friday, so we wanted to run as many plays as possible and look at different situations.”%^$
%^$Cooper said he still was not sure how the squad would be divided up for Saturday’s Spring Game in Crew Stadium (1:30 p.m.).%^$
%^$”I am leaning toward going with the first units against everyone else,” he said. “This is a young team and playing together in front of a nice crowd might be a confidence booster.”%^$
%^$Cooper said his goals Saturday are to play everyone and avoid any injuries.%^$
%^$”We have been lucky this spring in terms of injuries,” he said. “Hopefully, that will continue Saturday and we can begin focusing on the fall.”
