Twenty-three Student-Athletes Graduate at Winter Quarter Commencement – Ohio State Buckeyes

Columbus, Ohio – Twenty-three student-athletes will graduate at Winter Commencement held at St. John Arena March 17 at 9:30 a.m.
Among those who will receive their diploma are former football captains Ahmed Plummer and Greg Bellisari and a sharpshooter from last year’s Final Four Basketball team NeShaun Coleman.
Plummer, majoring in human resources, became the 24th OSU football player to be named first team Academic All-American when he was honored this December. He is a three-time Academic all-Big Ten Conference selection and a four-time scholar athlete. He was co-captain of the Buckeyes last season and was named first-team All-Big Ten at cornerback.
Bellisari earned back-to-back first team Academic All-American honors in 1995 and 1996. Like Plummer, he was Academic all-Big Ten three times and a four-time scholar athlete. The former linebacker was co-captain and second in tackles on the1997 Rose Bowl Champion team. He will graduate with a degree in zoology.
Coleman, OSU’s all-time leader in three-point field goals with 147, will graduate with a degree in sociology.
