Ticket Information for the 2000 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State Buckeyes have been selected to participate in the 2000 Men’s Basketball Championship. The Buckeyes will play Appalachian State on Friday, March 17 at The Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville, Tenn. Ohio State will initially only receive 450 tickets. These tickets will be used for players’ family members, Official University travel party, the coaching staff, and Ohio State students, faculty and staff.
Ohio State students, faculty and staff may place an application for a lottery ticket at the Athletic Ticket Office located in the Jerome Schottenstein Center beginning Monday, March 13th or they may request a lottery number via the athletic.tix@osu.edu email address. Please specify if you are a student or faculty/staff. A random lottery will be conducted at the close of business on Monday. All individuals who will receive NCAA 1st and 2nd round tickets will be posted (via lottery number) in the southeast lobby of the Jerome Schottenstein Center and on our Webpage (www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com ). Payment for the tickets must be received by 3:00 pm on Tuesday. All tickets will be required to be picked up at the tournament site by the original applicant.
Season ticket holders and the general public who are not eligible to participate in the lottery for the 1st and 2nd round NCAA tickets may contact the Gaylord Center at 615-770-2040. They have indicated that a limited number of tickets remain available for the 1st and 2nd round games to be held in Nashville, Tennessee.
