%^$COLUMBUS, Ohio – Head football coach John Cooper announced today that B.J. Barre (Toledo, Ohio/Whitmer High School) has signed a national letter of intent to attend The Ohio State University and play football next fall. He becomes the 25th member of the 2000 recruiting class.%^$
%^$Barre is rated as the No. 2 cornerback in the state by Bill Kurelic. He is the No. 17 prospect and the No. 2 cornerback in the Midwest as rated by SuperPrep. As a senior, he rushed for 1,245 yards and was a Division I special-mention all-Ohio selection.
