Ohio State Student-Athletes Complete Degrees – Ohio State Buckeyes

%^$COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State student-athletes, representing 10 varsity sports, earned their degrees today at commencement ceremonies held in St. John Arena. The Buckeye graduates, 17 total, were standouts both athletically and academically.%^$
%^$Jason Fox (Goshen, Ind.), a member of the men’s swimming team, was a two-time Ohio State Scholar-Athlete, a GTE Academic All-America second-team selection and a U.S. Swimming All-American. He qualified for the 2000 Olympic Trials in Indianapolis where he set an Ohio State record in the 200-individual medley in his final swim for the school.%^$
%^$Women’s golfer Amber Amstutz Sieber (Leo, Ind.), an Ohio State Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Big Ten honoree, was the first Buckeye to play in four NCAA tournaments. She earned All-Big Ten honors in 1999 and was the Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 1997.%^$
%^$Women’s synchronized swimmer Tarin Forbes (Edmonton, Alberta) was a member of the 2000 national championship team. She earned Ohio State Scholar-Athlete honors three times and was an Academic All-Big Ten honoree.%^$
%^$Roslyn Barker (Chicago, Ill.), a four-year letterwinner (1996-99) for the women’s basketball team, was an Academic All-Big Ten honoree and an Ohio State Scholar-Athlete.%^$
