Griffin became the only player ever to win the Heisman Trophy twice, the most prestigious award in college football, when he won the award in 1974 as a junior at Ohio State and again in 1975. He will be honored for a second consecutive year at the Heisman Trophy Dinner in New York on Dec. 11, the 25th anniversary of his second Heisman.
