Moua Dismissed – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Starting Forward Michaela Moua (Mi*Kay*la Moo*uh), a 5-11 senior from Vantaa, Finland, was dismissed today as a member of the 1999-2000 Ohio State women’s basketball team.%^$
%^$”In the best interest of the future of the program, we are going to continue this season without Michaela Moua,” Coach Beth Burns said.%^$
%^$Moua, the lone senior on the squad, started in all 15 games this season, averaging a team-leading 10.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. A two-time OSU Scholar-Athlete, Moua will remain in Columbus where she will continue her academic studies at The Ohio State University.%^$
%^$Ohio State, 9-6 overall, 2-3 Big Ten, will resume conference play Thursday, Jan. 20 at Penn State.
