Buckeye Women’s Soccer Nabs Second Tie of Season – Ohio State Buckeyes

The Ohio State Buckeyes recorded a 0-0 double-overtime tie against Indiana Friday evening at Bill Armstrong Stadium. OSU posted nine shots on the Hoosier goal, and came close to scoring as Emily Thorpe (So., Cincinnati, Ohio) fired a shot towards IU goalkeeper Ashley Davis, which resulted in a save. Indiana attempted to score in overtime with a shot from Kristen Sprunger. Her powerful shot bounced off the crossbar, leaving IU scoreless. The Buckeyes are 5-2-2 overall and 0-1-1 in the Big Ten. OSU travels to West Lafayette, Ind. to face Purdue on Sunday, Sept. 26 at 1 p.m. CST.
