COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State guards Michael Redd (Jr., Columbus, Ohio/West) and Scoonie Penn (Sr., Salem, Mass./Salem) have been selected by The John R. Wooden Award Committee as preseason Top 25 candidates for the Wooden Award All-American Team. %^$
%^$The 10-player Wooden Award All-American Team will be announced March 28, 2000. One member of this select group will be selected April 7, 2000 as the recipient of the Wooden Award Trophy winner as the nation’s “Most Outstanding Collegiate Basketball Player of the Year.”%^$
