Quoting Ohio State’s head coach Jim Stone: We’re realy glad we won. I thought Notre Dame player really well, expecially the first game and a half. They could have also won game three.
Overall, I’m pleased with our team. I’m very pleased with our effort tonight, but we’ll have to play better tomorrow.
I thought we were serving too easy (in game one). I was encouraging people to be more aggressive. Notre Dame was in synch the whole time. I told them we needed to be more aggressive and more emotional.
