This is some OSU GREAT stuff…
* Scoonie Penn. This little warrior spent yesterday afternoon speaking to approximately 30 teens as part of the Youth Diversion Program sponsored by Catholic Youth Services.
* Ohio State’s starting linebackers – Andy Katzenmoyer, Jerry Rudzinski and Na’il Diggs – and defensive coordinator Fred Pagac have spent parts of two afternoons in the last week talking to, playing with and visiting children at Children’s Hospital.
* Hockey media day was yesterday and among other things, coach John Markell said his team is leaner and stronger, and mentally ready to start the season off on a strong note. The team finished last year on a strong note, winning 18 of its last 21 games and advancing all the way to the Final Four in its first-ever NCAA appearance.
