COLUMBUS, Ohio – Caley McGinty has been named the Big Ten Co-Golfer of the Week, announced by the conference on Wednesday.
McGinty had a phenomenal showing at the Westbrook Invitational Feb. 26-27. She shot three under-par rounds, firing scores of 70 (-2), 70 (-2) and 67 (-5) en route to winning the tournament. Her third round score is her best round as a Buckeye so far.
McGinty claimed her sixth individual college title and was the first player carrying the Folds of Honor bag to win a tournament.
The team finished second overall and shot a program-low 276 (-12) in the final round of competition.
The Buckeyes head back to Arizona March 17-19 to compete in the Mountain View Collegiate.
