COLUMBUS, Ohio – Brian Maisonneuve, head coach of the Buckeyes, added Maidenhead, England native Marko Borkovic to the Ohio State roster for the 2022 season.
Borkovic played for the Furze Platt Senior School in Maidenhead, Berkshire and for the Derby County Football Club in Derby, Derbyshire England, where he made his debut with the club’s U18 and U23 age groups.
“We are so excited to add Marko to our roster for the fall,” Maisonneuve said. “Marko has the ability to play in our front three positions. He is very dynamic off the dribble with the ability to make the final pass and score goals. He has a high soccer IQ and a tremendous work rate. Marko has played at an extremely high level with Derby County and will add a lot on the field and in the locker room.”
Borkovic joins Ashton Bilow, Dyland Onwona-Agyeman, R.J. Stoller, Donny Williams and Tanner Creech in the 2022 recruiting class.
